The insanely talented and amazing Katie LaRouche!! She is our reigning Miss Michigan and will take the Miss America stage by storm!! I will be in Vegas to cheer her on!! Can't wait!! :)
This was my first year to attend the annual Fall Forum!! It was an exciting day that I spent with my fantastic Director Franny and many of the contestants! Franny and I laughed all the way to Muskegon! We arrived on the westside before we knew it!
I didn't even know what to expect of this day, but I had a blast and learned tons along the way! We got a 'sneak peek' as Katie showcased her Miss America wardrobe and blew us away with her styling! The judges won't even know what hit 'em!! All I can say is 'wow!!'
It was a pleasure to hear Kirsten Hagland share stories of her days at Miss Michigan and Miss America! Kirsten is so funny and she is very articulate and humorous at the same time!! I loved catching up with her after and we got a quick picture taken together too!!
It was great to sit back and enjoy the little Miss Michigan pageant! These little girls were packed with talent and didn't hold anything back! Glad I am not competing with them!! ;) It was also great to see some girls that I knew when they competed for another organization, it's great to see they are a part of the MAO now!!
The dinner was very good and I had to laugh when I saw Catalina as a dressing for the salad!! It is my favorite dressing and most places don't have it so that made me giggle!!
The Fall Forum was a great day and an opportunity to meet some of the contestants I had not had a chance to speak with before! I am always amazed by the contestants that go to Miss Michigan each year! What an honor to be going with this group of beautiful, talented, and well spoken friends to the Miss Michigan stage in June! I am pumped! I hope you are too!!
