On, Saturday, November 20th, I had the pleasure of riding in the Royal Oak Magic Parade!! It was a great early kick-off to the Christmas Holiday Season and really helped everyone to get in the Holiday spirit!! The driver and his wife of the Saab car who drove us in the parade are from Clarkston too!! She is a teacher at a local elementary school, which is down the road from our house, and was very gracious to invite me to her classroom to speak with her students after the New Year begins!!
The Royal Oak residents and parade fans were a wonderful crowd and showed lots of enthsiasm for us as we drove by and waved!
After the parade our family celebrated an early Thanksgiving with my brother and his wife in their new home which was a perfect ending to a fun-filled day!!
