On Friday, December 16th, 2010, for the second time ever, I volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Drive right here in my hometown of Clarkston at the Fire Dept! While I am not able to give blood (my iron level is too low for the Red Cross's standards although very healthy for me!!!!) I am happy that I am at least able to give back by giving my time and encouragement to others while I registered them. I met many wonderful people who took time out of their busy schedules to give blood and save 3 lives from what they gave!! I always love being out in my community and doing whatever I can to help out!
